A bus luggage bay is different from a courier van, so pack with these conditions in mind:
Stacking
Cartons are stacked on top of each other with passenger bags. Weak boxes can be crushed by the weight above.
Road Bumps
Buses travel long distances, and road bumps can make items move inside the box. Fill empty space with bubble wrap or crumpled paper.
Handling by Hand
Staff load and unload parcels by hand at each terminal. Boxes need strong seams and a size that is easy to hold.
How to Pack Different Types of Goods
Choose your packing based on what you are sending:
Use strong corrugated cartons. Seal all flaps and seams with heavy-duty tape, and add plastic strapping, as Daewoo asks.
Wrap each item in bubble wrap and pack it in a strong wooden crate, as Daewoo requires for fragile goods. Mark the outside as fragile.
Heavy metal parts are best packed in a strong wooden crate, so sharp corners cannot damage other luggage. Ask the counter about any oils or fluids before you send parts.
