How Daewoo Smart Cargo Prices Work
Daewoo Smart Cargo does not have one flat price for the whole country. Parcels travel in the luggage bays of Daewoo buses from terminal to terminal, so the price depends on your route and your parcel.
Prices can change, so price lists copied onto other websites quickly go out of date. It is better to know what affects the price and then check the current price with Daewoo.
What Usually Affects the Price
At the terminal counter, staff look at your parcel before they give you a booking slip. The price usually depends on:
Route
The sending terminal and the destination terminal. Longer routes usually cost more than short ones.
Weight
Staff weigh your parcel at the counter. Heavier parcels usually cost more.
Size
Bus luggage bays have limited space, so large but light parcels may be charged by size as well as weight. Ask at the counter.
Type of Goods
What is inside the parcel may also matter. Tell the counter what you are sending.
How to Use the Official Tariff Calculator
Daewoo has an official online tariff calculator, so you can check the price for your route before you go to the terminal:
- Go to the official tariff page: Open the calculator at fastex.pk/tariff/.
- Choose the sending terminal: Choose the terminal where you will hand in the parcel.
- Choose the destination terminal: Choose the terminal where the receiver will collect it.
- Enter the parcel details: Enter the weight and any other details the calculator asks for.
- See the estimate: The calculator shows a price estimate for your route.
Who Pays: Ask at the Counter
We could not confirm Daewoo’s payment options. Ask the counter who can pay the freight charge:
- Sender pays: Ask whether the sender can pay the full charge when booking, so the receiver pays nothing on collection.
- Receiver pays: Ask whether the receiver can pay at the destination terminal instead. If so, the parcel is handed over once the charge is paid.
Tips to Avoid Price Surprises
To make sure the price at the counter matches your online estimate, keep these points in mind:
- Measure the box: For large or oddly shaped boxes, measure the longest length, width and height. Big boxes may cost more.
- Be honest about contents: Tell the counter what is really inside, so your parcel is handled and priced correctly.
- Check your slip: Before you leave the counter, check the weight, the value and both terminals on your booking slip.
